Kyeburn Catchment Ltd have been clients since the start of the company. We initially worked alongside the irrigators to replace all their water and deemed permits. This involved preparing an application which represented a catchment wide approach to sustainable water use and assisting in the processing of this application through hearings and mediation. They have secured 35 year permits that also include strong environmental gains such as a freshwater species management plan, ongoing and comprehensive stream health monitoring, commercial eel harvesting ban and residual flows.
We currently assist the catchment in preparing their annual program of work relating to compliance and adherence to their consent conditions.
